” Legal 100 is a prestigious project honouring the Netherlands’ top 100 legal professionals. Through refined visual storytelling, the project culminates in a luxurious book and a live exhibition event. I was brought on board to help elevate the audiovisual side of the campaign—from subtle teasers to an atmospheric aftermovie and curated screen content for the exhibit itself. ”
Social Media Teasers
In the lead-up to the event, I created a series of short teaser videos tailored for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. Steering away from loud, attention-grabbing tactics, these clips leaned into mystery and restraint. The aesthetic was intentionally understated—black and white, minimalist, and mood-driven—to create intrigue and signal the event’s sophistication. Two examples are featured on this page.
The Aftermovie
The aftermovie captures the essence of the project: the photo sessions, the people, the atmosphere. Shot in a clean yet artistic style, the film balances a classical elegance with modern contrast. The choice of music—where classical and electronic elements subtly clash—brings an unexpected edge to the otherwise refined mood, setting this piece apart.
Exhibition Loops
During the exhibition, various screens displayed looping video portraits of the featured professionals mid-pose—offering visitors a living snapshot of the process behind the book. These visuals, reused from the aftermovie, were presented silently across large horizontal displays and scattered TVs throughout the venue. Always in black and white, always composed—just like the project itself.
